Being a R&D company, with high qualifications and experience on microbial fermentation and biopolymers’ development projects, we have already developed a considerable IP portfolio, comprised of patents for the Chitin-Glucan Complex (patents already granted in the US, Canada, Australia and Portugal, and pending in other regions).

We have licensed, in late 2011, our Chitin-Glucan Complex patent portfolio to Pharma73, a Portuguese based biotech start-up, dedicated to the production and development of pharmaceutical excipients from biopolymers.
