FucoPol is a biopolymer, a high molecular weight heteropolysaccharide, composed of neutral sugars (fucose, glucose and galactose) and an acidic sugar (glucuronic acid).
The product has a natural origin, obtained through a proprietary bioprocess based on a non-GMO bacterium.

This product is suitable for use in applications such as: thickening agent, gelling agent or emulsion stabilizer for food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical products; preparation of biodegradable films.

FucoPol is a natural source of pure monosaccharides (L-fucose, galactose, glucose and glucuronic acid) to be used as a precursor in the synthesis of compounds with pharmaceutical or nutraceutical interest, such as HMO (Human Milk Oligosaccharides). With this process, it is possible to obtain stable monosaccharides, particularly L-fucose, one of the HMO precursors, with a purity level above 95%.
